That Is Where Those Memories Start, Which Still Pull The Heart.

The Real Beauty Of The Eksari Village Started From The Shade Of The Trees.

Children Would Gather Under The Big Tamarind And Neem Trees And Play-

Sometimes Marbles, Sometimes Gilli Danda, Sometimes Hide And Seek.

In Between, Breaking A Tamarind And Eating It And Making Faces At Its Sourness…

Oh, That Was The Real Fun.

Then Came The Turn Of The Old Well.

Morning And Evening, Women Would Come To Fetch Water With Pitchers On Their Heads.

There Was Nothing But Laughter Near The Well-

Someone Would Pull The Rope, Someone Would Drop The Bucket, And Someone Would Start Singing.

Children Would Mischievously Turn The Bucket Upside Down Halfway Through.

Well Does Not Mean Just Water, It Means A Fair Like Atmosphere In The Entire Eksari Village.

And When The Afternoon Sun Would Become Scorching, Everyone Would Head Towards The Pond. 

The Group Of Children Would Jump Straight In-

Some Would Dive, Some Would Splash Around In The Water,

Some Would Pull Their Friend And Force Him Into The Water.

Even The Elders Would Jump In While Washing Clothes.

The Pond Means Cool Relief A Place Of Fun.

When Children Would Leave For School In Groups From Eksari Village Early In The Morning,

They Would Keep On Playing Pranks And Laughing While Passing Through The Fields And Footpaths.

No Matter How Long The Journey Was, It Was Not Felt In The Fun And Laughter Of Friends.

And Then Came The Most Important Time Of The Day- Returning From School.

Slipped The Books And Children Went Straight To The TV. It Was The Era Of 90's-

Shaktimaan, Alif Laila, Shriman Shrimati, Chanakya, Chitrahaar And Sunday's Ramayan Or Mahabharat.

The Whole Eksari Village Would Gather In One House. Someone Would Climb The Roof To Straighten 
The Antenna Of The TV, And A Voice Would Come From Below-

Enough, Enough, Now I Can See Clearly.

The Madness Of That Era Was Such That As Soon As The Show Started On TV, There Would Be Silence,

 And As Soon As It Ended, Children Would Start Living The Same Story In A Playful Way.

The Coolness Of The Shade Of Trees, The Hustle And Bustle Of The Well And A Dip In The Pond-

The School Rush In The Morning And The Passion For TV In The Evening-

This Was The Real Fun Of The Eksari Village In The 90's.

This Was The Real Identity Of Village Eksari Life.

The Coolness Of The Shade Of The Trees, The Sweet Water Of The Old Well, The Dip In The Pond And 
The Madness Of 90's TV Shows- These Are The Treasures That The Eksari Villager’s Keep In Their 
Hearts. Times Have Changed, But The Fragrance Of Those Days Still Emanates From The Soil.
